This is the Le Lambi hotel where our teams stay. It is located about a twenty minute walk
from the Mariani clinic.
The top of the image shows a deck and lattice work that extends over the water. We used
this area for prayer and devotions. The deck has indeed collapsed and is under the water and
the lattice roof has fallen.
What looks like a picket fence along the street is a blockade. The hotel is closed until further
notice. This is a well known landmark in Haiti. Everyone knows Le Lambi. Renaud, our
supervisor, met with one of the owners. They will try to re-open as soon as they can. They
are nice people and always treated our teams well.

So much has been destroyed in Haiti. It will take years to restore buildings and lives as well.
